Refund Policy
Last updated: 9/15/2026
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled on SPONZO. Payments on our platform fall into two categories: (a) subscription plans that unlock platform features, and (b) deal payments made by brands into escrow for collaborations with creators. Each is handled differently, as described below.
2. Subscription Plans
SPONZO offers paid subscription plans (such as Pro and Premium) that unlock additional platform features. Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing cycle and are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
- No partial refunds are provided for unused time remaining in a billing cycle.
- If you were charged in error or experienced a technical issue during payment, contact us and we will investigate.
3. Deal Payments (Brands and Creators)
When a brand funds a deal, the payment is held in escrow by SPONZO until the collaboration is completed. Escrowed funds are released to the creator once the deal is marked complete, and are not refundable to the brand simply on the basis of a change of mind once a deal is active.
If a disagreement arises over a deal, either party may raise a dispute while the deal is active or submitted for review. Disputes are reviewed by our team based on the evidence submitted by both parties within the applicable evidence window, and are resolved in one of the following ways:
- Full release: the full escrowed amount is released to the creator.
- Full refund: the full amount is refunded to the brand and the deal is cancelled.
- Partial refund: the amount is split between a refund to the brand and a payout to the creator, as determined by our team.
- Dismissed: the dispute is dismissed and the deal continues as originally agreed.
Dispute outcomes are determined at our reasonable discretion based on the evidence and information available, and are final. Approved refunds are processed back to the brand's original payment method.
4. Creator Payouts and Wallet
Amounts released to a creator are credited to their SPONZO wallet. Wallet balances can be withdrawn subject to our standard payout process. Amounts already withdrawn from a creator's wallet are not eligible for reversal or refund.
5. Processing Time
Approved refunds are initiated within a reasonable period after the outcome is determined. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
